Makayla Oas Bio

Makayla has been at High Caliber for two years, with a year and a half in sales, and has quickly become the person everyone turns to when something needs a little creative magic. Her most-used phrase, “Yeah, I’ll make you the deck,” is usually followed by someone adding, “Oh, and can you make it look nice?” Because apparently, making it look good is just part of the job description now.

Her favorite movie is Paris, Texas, because apparently watching something lighthearted and fun is just too mainstream. While everyone else is watching explosions and superheroes save the world, Makayla prefers a little emotional damage with her popcorn.

But here's where things get interesting. Before joining High Caliber, Makayla was basically an underground internet celebrity. She ran an Instagram fan account dedicated to DC villains that racked up thousands of followers. Yes, thousands. While other kids were doing normal teenage things, Makayla was spending countless hours making dramatic edits and fan videos of fictional bad guys. Some people had a social life. Makayla had an algorithm to feed.

These days, she's traded supervillain fan edits for work projects, proving that some things never change—she's still spending hours making people look good on a screen.
